POS and operations software for Thai hospitality
KAMRAI POS runs your till, your staff commission, your stock and your rooms in one system. It is built for bars, restaurants, spas and small resorts in Thailand, where commission rules are complicated. From OSMIUMIX.
Generic POS software assumes one price, one tax rate and no commission. Thai hospitality runs on tip pools, service charges, split commissions across shifts, and room charges that land on a guest folio. We built the software we could not buy.

What makes KAMRAI different from off-the-shelf POS?
Commission calculation. In a bar or a spa, one sale can pay three people different rates depending on role, shift and whether the customer was a walk-in or a hotel guest. Most systems handle this in a spreadsheet afterwards. KAMRAI computes it at the moment of sale, per staff member and per shift, and reconciles it into the payroll report.
What the system covers
One system instead of four, with the numbers agreeing with each other.
Till and shift control
Open and close shifts, cash drawer counts, X and Z reports, voids and corrections kept in a clear trail. Multi-branch from one account.
Commission and payroll
Commission rules per role, per shift, per product category, with service charge and tip pool handling. The payroll report is produced from real sales, not from a later spreadsheet.
Front desk and rooms
Check-in and check-out, folio, room charges posted from the outlet, spa sessions and open tabs. For small resorts this replaces a separate front desk system.
Stock and purchasing
Stock deducted at the point of sale, reorder points, and purchasing that reflects what actually sold.
Bilingual by default
The interface and the receipts work in Thai and English, because the owner, the manager and the guest often need it in different languages.
PDPA-conscious data handling
Staff and guest data is handled with a record of what is processed, role-based access and clear retention. This is one of the areas where local competitors are weak.
How does a rollout work?
Starting small is normal. Many clients take the POS first and add rooms later.
1. Map your commission rules
We write down exactly how your team is paid today, including the exceptions. This is the step that decides whether the system fits.
2. Configure and load your data
Products, prices, staff, roles, branches and commission rates are set up, and we test against a normal week of your sales.
3. Train the floor team
Training happens on the till during quiet hours, in Thai, with the people who will use it every shift.
4. Run parallel, then switch
We run alongside your current process for a short period, compare the numbers, then switch over when the reports agree.

Who this fits
A good fit if
- • A bar, restaurant, spa or small resort in Thailand with commission or service charge rules
- • More than one branch, or a plan to open more
- • You currently reconcile commission in a spreadsheet every month
- • You want room charges and outlet sales in the same set of numbers
Probably not yet if
- • A single till with one price and no commission, where a simple cash register is enough
- • A business that needs a full enterprise ERP with manufacturing and procurement workflows
What does it cost?
Software pricing is scoped per branch and per module. The audit is the way to get a fixed number.

POS rollout

Rooms module

Updates, support in Thai and English, and help with tax-document formats.
All prices in Thai Baht, excluding VAT. Software is quoted per branch and module after the audit, so you get a fixed number rather than a range.
Frequently asked questions
Does KAMRAI handle complex staff commission?
Yes, and it is the main reason the product exists. Commission can differ by role, by shift, by product category, and by whether the customer was a walk-in or a hotel guest. It is calculated at the point of sale and flows into the payroll report, so month-end reconciliation stops being a spreadsheet exercise.
Can it handle several branches?
Yes. Branches run under one account with separate tills and separate staff, and the owner sees a combined view as well as each branch on its own.
Do you do room charges and front desk?
Yes. Check-in, folio, and charges posted from the outlet or spa. Small resorts use it instead of a separate front desk system, which is why the numbers agree without any export between systems.
Is the interface in Thai?
The interface and receipts work in Thai and English. Staff training is delivered in Thai, and documentation is provided in both languages.
What about VAT and tax documents?
The system supports VAT lines, tax ID fields and shift reports. Requirements for tax receipts differ depending on how the business is registered, so we scope that during the audit and tell you plainly what is supported today and what is still being built.
How long does a rollout take?
Once your commission rules are settled, configuration and training typically take a few weeks, and we run in parallel with your current process before switching over. We will not cut over until the two sets of reports agree.
